The Pleasantville Panthers pick up their first win of the season with a 24-6 win over the Albertus Magnus Falcons (0-2) at Parkway Field in Pleasantville, NY. Albertus Magnus got off to a fast start with a 56-yard TD reception from junior QB Chris Calvario to senior Jaaron Joseph. However, Pleasantville’s defense and special teams stifled the Falcons for the rest of the game, leading to two safeties and allowing only 110 yards. Pleasantville was able to get into the end zone nearly 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter with a 5-yard TD run by junior fullback Harrison Halesworth. Halesworth would lead the Panthers with 15 carries, 76 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Pleasantville Panthers (10-6) outscored the Lakeland/Panas Rebels (6-10) 3-0 in the 4th quarter en route to a 13-11 win at Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt, NY. The game was a very fast pace and was a back and forth game throughout. Pleasantville jumped off to a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter and won 4 of the first 5 faceoffs. However, Lakeland/Panas fought back and took a 7-5 halftime lead. But Pleasantville would tie the score 2:19 into the 3rd quarter and both teams fought back and forth until sophomore midfielder Matt May tallied home the 12-11 and eventual game-winning goal with 5:39 left.
