Latimer set to unveil 2019 Westchester County budget

WHITE PLAINS – Westchester County Executive George Latimer will reveal what he has decided to include in the county’s 2019 budget on Friday.

Latimer expressed confidence to FiOS1 News in October that the budget would produce results for all of Westchester.

Once the budget is sent to county lawmakers, they will review it and may make changes. According to lawmakers, the county has a $18.2M deficit that needs to be solved and some are considering increasing the property tax levy by 5.7% while not breaking a state-imposed cap.
