Break in the Humidity

Posted by CJ Papa 3:41 pm, Jul. 12, 2011

Temperatures reached record levels on Monday near the Mid 90's. An isolated thunderstorm is possible as a weak cold front moves overhead this afternoon. High pressure builds in behind the front bringing drier and cooler air onto the island tonight. Overnight lows still on the mild side near the lower 70's.

Wednesday will continue to be on the warm side, but a lot less humid. Highs are expected to top out in the upper 80's to low 90's under mostly sunny skies. This trend will remain into the weekend as high pressure holds steady over the Tri-State area.
