Expert Says Unusual Weather Will Likely be Common
HEMPSTEAD — Residents took advantage of Wednesday’s unusual spring-like weather by heading out to the golf course and running errands. Expecting the unexpected when it comes to weather is slowly but surely becoming the norm for Long Island residents. However, environmental researcher Bob Brinkman of Hoftra University said the variable weather that Long Island experienced is happening on a global scale and will likely be common for the next several decades.
