Nassau Exec Announces Opening of Insurance Resource Center

Facility to Help Residents Affected by Hurricane Sandy

Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano announced Thursday the opening of an insurance resource center at Cedar Creek Park to help out residents affected by Hurricane Sandy. Mangano said the New York State Department of Financial services will be at the center in addition to other insurance companies. The county executive added that the Federal Emergency Management Agency will also be present at the center in the near future.
