NEW YORK — Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand's team is eagerly awaiting results Tuesday night in the race for the U.S. Senate race against Republican challenger Wendy Long. Senator Gillibrand won overwhelmingly in a special 2010 election after she was appointed to fill Hilary Clinton's seat in 2008. This election marks the first time Gillibrand is running for a full term.
