MOONACHIE — Although several residents experienced heavy flooding from a broken levee in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, many refused to let the destruction stop them from voting. "For people who can't get to vote, we have to be there voice and speak for them because everybody lost so much," one resident told FiOS1 News.
