New Jersey Governor Chris Christie held a news conference Sunday afternoon to provide an update on the status of power outages. Christie said the aim to decrease the number of outages is a collaborative effort between New Jersey's two power utilities and 8,000 workers from out of state. The governor also emphasized that the state is not experiencing a shortage on gasoline, but that the outages prevented the movement of the supply out of the refineries.
