FREEPORT — People lined up for hours in hopes to receive rations of gasoline at the New York State Armory in Freeport Saturday morning. The gas was intended primarily for emergency vehicles and first responders, and then the general public. However, reports say that a pumper that was supposed to come with the 5,000-gallon fuel truck never arrived.
