Residents Bring Clothes and Supplies to Temporary Shelter
Levittown residents who were not affected by Hurricane Sandy helped out by bringing clothes and other crucial supplies to a local school that was set up as a shelter for hurricane victims. Volunteers also placed people affected by the storm in buses that transported them to Eisenhower Park where warm showers were available. Those that helped out said they feel fortunate to still have their own homes and feel happy helping affected residents.
