Lines for Warm Meals Stretch Around the Block
GREAT NECK — Local business owners who regained electricity opened their doors for residents still suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. People were seen walking in and out of a functioning neighborhood salon and enjoying the breezy fall morning and put the worst behind them. Open restaurant and bistros had lines outside the door as customers waited to get their first warm meal in days.
