Transit Resumes With Limited Service in NY, NJ

Most Tunnels and Bridges Also Open for Commute

While many of New York City's subways remain submerged under water, Andrew Cuomo announced Thursday morning that limited service will resume on the 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, A, D, F, J, L, M, N and R trains. The MTA, LIRR and Metro-North will also be operating limited. In New Jersey, NJ TRANSIT Rail, Newark Light Rail & HBLR service will remain suspended until further notice. Buses are operating on limited service.
