FREEPORT – In a town bordered by two canals, residents of Freeport say that high tides and flooding has destroyed homes, parks, and local businesses. Two restaurants reportedly burned down in the fury of the storm Monday evening. FiOS1 News’ Carolyn Fortino assesses the damage.
