Reinstatement of Driver's License Will be More Difficult
ROSLYN HEIGHTS — Motorists who had their driver's licenses revoked due to drunk driving convictions will now find that it is a lot more difficult to get licenses reinstated, according to officials. The Department of Motor Vehicles will deny reinstatement to anyone who has had five or more alcohol- or drug-related driving convictions. The DMV will also deny relicensing to anyone with three or more such convictions and at least one serious driving offense within the last 25 years. FiOS1's Ron Lee reports.
