QUEENS — The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado touched down in Saturday morning and tore the roofs off beach cabanas at Breezy Point Surf Club. The funnel cloud ripped through walls and downed power lines as it moved through the Breezy Point neighborhood. There have been no reports of injuries, sources said.
