Police Say Ryan Bernhardt, 17, Threatened to Bomb School
HEMPSTEAD — Police arrested a Massapequa High School student after they said he threatened to bomb the school. According to authorities, witnesses at a Merrick Road bagel store said they heard Ryan Bernhardt make terrorist threats while he was on his lunch break on Tuesday. Officials said the incident was reported to police, who then arrested the 17-year-old. Bernhardt pled not guilty to the felony charge of making a terrorist threat.
