SELDEN — Police said they were forced to stun gun a man after he refused to cooperate with authorities. According to investigators, the incident began when Christian Palma frightened a woman at the Tanfasia Tanning Salon in Middle County Road. The woman then reported the incident to authorities who rushed to scene to take the suspect into custody. Police said when he resisted arrest they were forced to use the stun gun.

Palma was arrested and charged with menacing and resisting arrest.
