MINEOLA — The Nassau County Commission on Human Rights held an interfaith prayer vigil service Thursday night to honor the six people killed in the Oak Creek, Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting. Authorities said lone gunman Wade Michael Page shot and killed the victims when he opened fire at the place of worship on Sunday before turning the weapon on himself. An estimated 300 people attended the event, which was held in the Nassau County Legislative Chamber.
