EAST MEADOW — Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano and NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly presided over the opening ceremony Thursday night of the Traveling Vietnam Memorial at Eisenhower Park. Dozens of local veterans also attended the event, which included a wreath-laying ceremony. The Wall is an 80 percent replica of the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
