Sources Say 9 Customers Got Away Uninjured
ELMONT — Newsday reports that two robbers went into a Hempstead Turnpike Dunkin' Donuts, grabbed a cashier in a headlock, pointed a gun at him and demanded cash. Nine customers reportedly got away uninjured but the cashier suffered a bruised jaw. Sources say the suspects fled with an unknown amount of cash.
Police are asking any one with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
