MANAHAWKIN, N.J. — The shooting at a Colorado movie theater that left 12 dead and dozens injured on Friday is once again raising the debate over gun control. Nicola Bolcour of the New Jersey Coalition for Peace said that despite strict gun control laws, people can still obtain firearms illegally. Meanwhile, Frank Fiamingo, founder of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society, said that no individual should initiate the use of force upon another, but believes that people have the right to bear arms and protect their families.
