BRENTWOOD — A pregnant woman and an infant were seriously injured in a car accident, police said. According to investigators, the driver of the vehicle was speeding down Expressway Drive North service road before crashing into a 7-Eleven. Police say the three passengers in the vehicle — the driver, a pregnant woman and an 18-month-old child — were taken to area hospitals following the incident. Police said the child is listed in critical condition and the pregnant woman in serious condition. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly treated for minor injuries.
