NEW HYDE PARK — A father and son are charged with stealing 65 fire detectors from a firehouse on Jericho Turnpike. The suspects, Michael Dolan, 68, and his 32-year-old son Michael J. Dolan, are members of the town’s fire department. Both surrendered to police and are facing grand larceny charges.
