PORT JEFFERSON STATION — Gerard D'Aguanno, 49, was pronounced dead after his vehicle struck a utility pole near Woodhull Avenue Wednesday night, according to Suffolk County police. The single-car crash happened around 8 p.m. and D'Aguanno was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
