Visitors to Come Face to Face With Shuttle
NEW YORK — After months of anticipation, the Space Shuttle Enterprise exhibit at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum opens to the public on Thursday. The exhibit gives visitors a chance to see the shuttle up close. The exhibit’s opening kicks off with a five-day “space fest,” including free concerts, a screening of the “Star Trek” movie, and hands-on displays.
Museum officials said they hope the display will be an inspiration to all who come to see it. The shuttle arrived in New York in April.
