MALVERNE — The Malverne Volunteer Ambulance Department opened the doors of its new home on Saturday. This spring, after several months of tense negotiations, the ambulance corps approved a new contract with the village along with a lease for the building. The new headquarters will house two ambulances and has two offices and a meeting room.
