LAWRENCE — Shanequa Mason, 22, of Far Rockaway was arrested after she left her one-year-old daughter in a locked car while she went shopping in Lawrence, according to Nassau County police. Mason’s daughter was inside the car for approximately 15 minutes, police said. The child was examined by an EMT and she was unharmed, sources said.

Mason is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
