PHILADELPHIA — Former FBI director and federal judge Louis Freeh and his law firm conducted an eight-month investigation into the facts and circumstances tied to the actions of Pennsylvania State University officials surrounding the child abuse committed by former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. “Our most saddening and sobering finding is the total disregard for the safety and welfare of Sandusky's child victims by the most senior leaders at Penn State," said Freeh as part of his statement on the report’s findings.
