WATER MILL – Police have identified the nun they said was killed in a hit-and-run accident as Sister Jacqueline Walsh of Syosset. According to authorities, a passerby discovered the 59-year-old's body on the side of the road Monday night not far from a convent on Rose Hill Road. Detectives added they found an unoccupied 2009 Volkswagen Touareg with front-end damage about a half mile from the scene. Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said police know who the driver is and that officers are actively looking for the suspect.
