MEDFORD — A car fire has lead to a homicide investigation after a body was found inside the burning vehicle. The Medford Fire Department responded to reports of an explosion on Route 112 and found an SUV engulfed in flames. Upon putting out the flames, the body of an adult male was found inside the car burned beyond recognition. The car was not reported as being stolen and there is no information yet as to whether the body found is the car's owner.
