East Norwich Restaurant a Favorite of Theodore Roosevelt's
The story of Rothmann's Steakhouse dates back to 1907 when Charles and Franziska Rothmann decided to open a restaurant. Franziska said she would cook for the first 100 days and then hire a chef. However, she stayed in the kitchen, which turned out to be a smart move. Her quality cooking combined with their hospitality made Rothmann's a favorite of many, including former President Theodore Roosevelt, who presented them with a moose head that hangs on the wall to this very day. Rob talks with current general manager Jon Sherry to learn more about the restaurant's star-studded history and their menu.
