Police: No Evidence of Operators Being Intoxicated
OYSTER BAY — Three children have been confirmed dead after a boat carrying them capsized just inside Cold Spring Harbor late Wednesday. Lieutenant Commander John Azzatta of the Nassau County police held a press conference in which he revealed additional details about the incident. The two operators of the boat were checked out and there was no evidence of intoxication, according to Azzatta. The cause of the incident is still under investigation, he said.
