WANTAGH – Officials were hoping for a good turnout despite the rain and that's just what they got Wednesday morning. Residents and families lined the streets of Wantagh Avenue to see the creative floats go by and watch the ceremony, which concluded with the crowning of Miss Wantagh. The parade is reportedly one of the longest-running in New York State.
