A new service announced by Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and Police Commissioner Thomas Dale will allow motorists to access car accident reports online. The service, operated by Lexis Nexis, will cost motorists $14, instead of the $10 offered at local precincts. Officials say the system may cost a little more, but will save residents a trip and be more convenient.
