SYOSSET — Earl Perry, 26, of Amityville faces assault and reckless endangerment charges after he led police on a chase and crashed into several police vehicles, according to the Nassau County police. Perry was pulled over on the Long Island Expressway in Syosset and officers found that he had a suspended driver's license and suspended registration plates, sources said. Perry drove away, ran several red lights and struck multiple patrol cars before being apprehended, said police. One police officer was hospitalized for neck and back injuries.
