31-Year-Old Michael Grasing Charged With DWI
LINDENHURST — Suffolk County police arrested a motorist after a teenage girl was killed in a car crash Sunday night. According to police, 31-year-old Michael Grasing was driving on Montauk Highway around 10:30 p.m. when he drove his car into the back of another vehicle. The second vehicle flipped on its side and struck a pole killing the driver, police said. The victim was identified by police as Brittney Walsh, 18, who had just graduated from Copiague High School on Friday.
Grasing was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. He is to expected to be arraigned on DWI charges.
