CALVERTON — The third day of extreme temperatures on Friday brought residents to Long Island's water park, Splish Splash. Families and kids alike were able to find relief from hot weather conditions in the variety of attractions like water slides, wave pools, and a lazy river. The park broke its own record the day before with the highest number of people in attendance, so far, for the 2012 summer season.
