WILLISTON PARK — As temperatures rose above the 90-degree mark on Long Island Wednesday, many people working outdoors continued with their tasks while managing to stay cool. Taking on tree cutting duties in the area, Williston Park Public Works employee Steve Shelley said he and his workers kept in mind the ozone alerts as they worked quickly in order to stay under the sun as little as possible. Shelley said breaks under the shade also helped.
