LIDO BEACH — Police said a teenager is in critical condition and being treated for head trauma after a car hit him Tuesday morning at the intersection of Lido Boulevard and Greenway Road. Authorities said the 14-year-old Long Beach Middle School student was skateboarding when a 44-year-old man driving a Mercedes struck him with the vehicle. According to officials, the victim was transported to Nassau University Medical Center.
