CENTRAL ISLIP — Islip Town officials held at a cutting ribbon ceremony on Friday at Sysco's recently completed 420,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art refrigerated warehouse. This new facility has made it possible for Sysco, the nation's largest food service provider to the area, to bring 235 new jobs, 50 more than previously promised. Town Supervisor Tom Croci said the plant presents an opportunity for residents to take the initiative in making an economic recovery possible.
