Nearly a year has passed since the brutal shooting of 27-year-old Nazish Noorani during Ramadan, and now her alleged killers are being charged with a 17-count indictment. Kashif Parvaiz, Noorani's husband, and his friend, Antoinette Stephen, face life in prison without parole if convicted.

Noorani was walking with her husband and young son when she was murdered last August. Although Parvaiz initially said that a group of three men screamed slurs about terrorists and shot them, within hours police suspected that he was behind the crime. Prior to the murder, Noorani sent alarming text messages to her brother.
