New York City to Host International Franchise Expo
NORTHPORT — Some Long Island small business owners are hoping to grow by franchising and several local companies will offer franchise opportunities this month at the International Franchise Expo in New York City. John Nelson, owner of the door repair service company Doorologist, said he decided to expand his business by franchising because he did not want to hire additional workforce. Franchise attorney Harold Kestenbaum said the International Franchise Expo presents an opportunity for small business owners to get their companies exposed, whether they manage to sell franchises or not.
