CENTEREACH — A Centereach man is likely to face additional charges after the woman who authorities said he hit while drunk driving died from her injuries, according to reports. Police said James O'Donnell, 47, was initially charged with DWI after the May 23 accident on the Long Island Expressway service road in Ronkonkoma. Kristen Iacono, 26, of East Setauket was seriously injured in the collision and died a few days later, officials said.

"Newsday" reports that as a result of Iacono's death, a Suffolk District Attorney's office representative said more serious charges are likely after the case is presented to a grand jury.
