GARDEN CITY SOUTH — An accident involving a NICE bus on Hempstead Turnpike shut down the roadway Friday afternoon, according to officials. The bus was rear-ended on the eastbound lanes at Nassau Boulevard, said police. There were minor injuries reported after the incident, which is now under investigation.
