CENTRAL ISLIP — As America’s foreign wars begin to wind down, veterans are returning home in larger numbers. Veterans' representatives gathered at Touro Law School to discuss ways to better serve returning soldiers. Of the 84,000 veterans living in Suffolk County, nearly 28,000 receive aid from the county’s Veterans Services Agency.
