The United States Blind Golf 
Association is holding their 67th Annual National Championship at Middle Bay 
Country Club in Oceanside, NY. This highly recognized event brings 31 qualified 
blind and visually impaired golfers from across the United States to compete 
and bring awareness of golf to the community. This year the event will take 
place on Aug. 6 and Aug. 7 at Middle Bay Country Club in Oceanside, NY.

The 
competition starts on Monday, August 6 at 7 a.m. and Tuesday, August 7 at 
10:30 a.m. Members of the general public may observe the games at no charge.

Across the country, all temples and synagogues will be celebrating this special event, uniting in both out Jewish and American heritages. Temple Avodah invites you in this wonderful opportunity to find the red, white and blue intertwined with the blue and the white. Non-members are also welcomed and encouraged to attend.After services, a great dinner will be provided courtesy of the famous Kombert Caterers (reservations required).
