Try some of these ideas to give your kids the healthy brain activity, nutrients and energy their bodies need to get through the day.

• Use funky cooler bags, bento boxes and frozen ice packs to help keep foods fresh and cold!

Breakfast for Lunch:
1) 1 c. whole grain Kix cereal
1 8 oz. 1% low fat shelf stable milk box (cold)
1 small fresh bright yellow banana
1 low fat string cheese stick
1 100-calorie pack of dry roasted almonds (optional if no allergies)
4 to 8 oz. bottle of water

2) 1 Multi-grain roll or mini bagel
