and
Seaford Oyster Bay RTE 135 South of Sunrise Highway closed.
All cars must exit at Sunrise Hwy due to flooding.

On Tuesday, Oct. 16, Hofstra University will be hosting the Presidential Debate. The Nassau County Police Department is advising the public of the following traffic conditions and road closures due to this event:

Earl Ovington Boulevard will be closed to all traffic between Hempstead Turnpike and Charles Lindberg Boulevard from 6 a.m. until 12 midnight.

Westbound lanes on the Long Island Expressway (LIE/I-495) will undergo nightly closures starting on Sunday, Oct. 14 in the town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County. These closures will occur between South Oyster Bay Road (Exit 43) and NY Route 25/Jericho Turnpike (Exit 40). All travel lanes on the westbound LIE mainline will be closed for roadwork Sunday through Friday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m for two weeks.

New Jersey transportation officials today announced that plans are in place to help mitigate potential traffic congestion in connection with an ongoing bridge reconstruction project in New York City.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is scheduled to implement a new stage of construction on the Alexander Hamilton Bridge (AHB) in Manhattan this weekend, which is expected to affect eastbound motorists at the George Washington Bridge (GWB) in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
