The Nassau County Playoffs are postponed for the rest of the week. Games may resume on Saturday. Please check back for more information.
All Nassau County High School Post Season playoff and Championship games were cancelled on Tuesday.

Hoboken: Mandatory Curfew Extended Until 6 p.m.

A mandatory curfew has been extended in Hoboken through 6pm on Tuesday, October 30. Driving is prohibited. Police will consider all people on the street in violation of the curfew and driving ban.

There are reports of multiple live wires down throughout the City, and PSE&G cannot get into Hoboken to confirm that they are de-energized. Manhole covers have been displaced and pose a serious threat to pedestrians and cars on flooded and non-flooded streets. Flooding in the city remains widespread.

Bridge Closures: Outerbridge Crossing and Bayonne Bridge Shut Down

Due to high winds from Hurricane Sandy, the Port Authority is closing the Outerbridge Crossing and Bayonne Bridge immediately until further notice. The Goethals Bridge, linking Staten Island and New Jersey, is currently open with 35 mph speed restrictions and a ban on tractor-trailers, car-pulled trailers, house trailers and motorcycles.

President Obama Signs New Jersey Emergency Declaration
