An early season Tropical Storm has formed off the coast of the Carolinas. It is not expected at this time to become a hurricane. While no large scale impact is currently expected for us it will still increase wave height through mid-week. The storm will be moving just east of our coastline early this week. A series of other low pressure systems in the region will keep clouds and rain showers around for "at least" Monday through Wednesday and possibly longer. The other note worthy thing is hurricane season in the Atlantic has not officially started yet. The season runs from June 1st-Nov 30th.
